Challenges
Enigma Hotel, a high-end hospitality venue in the heart of Johannesburg, required a modern and reliable network infrastructure to support its expanding operations and ensure exceptional guest connectivity. The existing network was outdated, inconsistent, and unable to meet the growing demands for high-speed internet, smart room systems, and seamless communication between departments.
Solution
Bridge IT was commissioned to design and implement a complete structured cabling and network infrastructure solution that would elevate Enigma Hotel’s digital capabilities. The solution included:
- Design and deployment of a structured CAT6 cabling system across all floors and departments
- Installation of a centralized network cabinet with professional cable management
- Setup of dedicated VLANs to separate guest, admin, and staff networks for enhanced security
- Deployment of enterprise-grade switches and patch panels for optimal performance
- Testing, labeling, and documentation of the entire network infrastructure
- Future-proofing the setup to accommodate upgrades such as VoIP, CCTV, and smart IoT devices.
Results
The new structured cabling system delivered a robust and scalable network foundation for Enigma Hotel. Staff operations became faster and more efficient, while guests experienced stable, high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the premises. The infrastructure also supported the hotel’s internal VoIP communication, IPTV streaming, and secure back-office systems.
With minimal downtime during the implementation and a clean, professional installation, Bridge IT helped transform Enigma Hotel into a digitally connected and future-ready hospitality environment..
